At an event hosted by The Brookings Institution, the Secretary-General of the European Commission Martin Selmayr gave a speech on "Europe, Multilateralism and Great Power Competition" on 6 March 2019. The event was organized in the context of the Brookings – Robert Bosch Foundation Transatlantic Initiative. Following his opening remarks, Martin Selmayr was joined on stage by Thomas Wright (senior fellow and director, Center on the United States and Europe, The Brookings Institution) and then took questions from the audience.
